Welcome to the Friends of Bacon Library! The Friends of Bacon Memorial District Library is a volunteer, non-profit, tax-exempt organization that welcomes new members at our monthly meetings on the fourth Monday of most months at 7:00pm. Please check the Events Calendar on the Library website to view meeting dates and times.

The purpose of the Friends of Bacon Library is three-fold:

      • To promote development of excellent library services to all patrons

      • To provide financial assistance to the library's collections and programs

      • To make the public aware of the Friends of Bacon Library and the services we perform

Be sure to glance around our site to see the wonderful things we have accomplished as well as our plans for the future.

"The library is the temple of learning,
and learning has liberated more people
than all the wars in history" - Carl Rowan
